UCR ( UNIFIED CARRIER REGISTRATION)

UCR (Unified carrier Registration) for  2021 is now past due.

Avoid heavy fines ($1000/day up to $10,000)

Who needs to file for UCR?

UCR is a state revenue program imposed on motor carriers and mandated by federal government.

According to the UCR program, all motor carriers (for hire, private, and exempt) as well as brokers, freight forwarders, and leasing companies operating in interstate and international commerce are required to file for UCR  with their respective base state and pay an annual fee.

UCR is a base state program, which means every business subject to UCR requirements deals with the state in which it is based – (commonly the state in which the business has its principal place of business) for UCR purposes.

The annual fee charged by UCR program is based on a bracket system depending on the number of vehicles you operate.

As a licensed and insured third party administrator, we can file for and process UCR applications on behalf of motor carriers.
